We invite you Brother West.
You are that magical moment when the sun is extinguished in a brilliant glow.
Please provide clear thought to evaluate our actions with integrity and confidence.
You are Introspection. You are the evaluation we give to the things we do.
You are also pride and depression … without which we do not learn
NORTH
We invite you Sister North.
You are that magical moment when the sun seems farthest away and when Spirits like to talk with us.
Please fill us only with what we need to know at this present moment.
You are Wisdom; gained from introspection on our actions and inspirations. Help inspire us many times more.
You are our teacher who guides us to understanding and helps keep our feet on the good path.
You are also the one who insists we will always be students … without which we do not learn.
MOTHER EARTH
We invite you Mother Earth.
You are all things below our rooted feet, where all things above us come from.
Please touch us always and insist we never forget how we must touch you back.
You are Connection. You are the roots that stretch deep. You are the stones and plants and the animals.
You are also the one that teaches us through turmoil and disaster… without which we do not live.
FATHER SKY
We invite you Father Sky.
You are all things above our upturned heads, where all balancing medicines come from.
Please fold your arms around us and hold us and protect us on our journey.
You are Comfort. You protect, hold and help us to grow through your Wind, Rain, Thunder, Lightning and Sunshine.
You are also the "Great Balancer" -- flooding and burning when necessary … without which we do not live.
GREAT MYSTERY
We invite you Great Mystery.
You are the energy wind that begins in the heart and blows out, into and around all things, holding all things in their right and proper place.
Please help us to always feel how the energies within us are vital to maintaining balance within all things.
You are Unconditional Love. You allow us to be the best possible stewards of this world.
You are Spirit in her purest state and are mysterious, while generous and loving.
