Brother

Brother

For Steve Long --  Happy Birthday

I am sorry for not being a better brother and sharing more how much I respect and love you.
Please forgive me for my slights against you, most importantly for those you may not hear.
Thank you for teaching me how to think with intensity, with creativity and with insight.
I love you, Brother, we would not be who we are without each other.

Nate

---   This is based on the Ho'oponopono practice of taking responsibility.  The Mantra "I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you" is recited internally when one struggles with removing unneeded and harsh judgement.  Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian Spiritual practice for atonement and self-healing.
