Cry for a Vision

Cry for a Vision

A bright red messenger,
A living flying prayer tie.
He Watches the three hummingbirds play.
He Watches this man sitting below
Who is here to cry for a vision.

So with the sweetest of voices
He sings to this man
Of how this place and this time
And this way of praying
Have been gifted to him by his ancestors,
Because of who he has become
And who he is becoming.

The man sees the beauty,
And the gratitude fills him completely,
As the faces of his father and grandparents appear,
And with this vision, he cries.
